RICHMOND TIGERS OUT TO EXTEND WINX-LIKE RECORD
Richmond can be expected to continue the club’s Winx-like record at the Melbourne Cricket Ground by beating Hawthorn in the first AFL qualifying final on Thursday night.
The Tigers have won 21 consecutive matches at the MCG and can extend the winning streak to 24 by beating the Hawks and then going on to win a second successive grand final.
The second qualifying final between West Coast Eagles and Collingwood at Optus Stadium on Saturday could go either way.
Melbourne should defeat Geelong in the first elimination final at the MCG on Friday while Sydney should have Greater Western Sydney’s measure in the second elimination final.
