Patrick Bartley’s look at racing around Australia and Hong Kong

FLEMINGTON:

LEICA LUCY (AUSTRALIAN CUP)
will be at her peak for this Group 1 event and her two lead up races have been excellent

TIGER SHARK (HOYSTED STAKES)
has been competing in far tougher races than this. With the proposed high early pace, could play into this ex queenslanders racing style each way.

ROSEHILL:

SEPELS (DONCASTER PRELUDE)
outstanding return to racing in the Newmarket two weeks ago. Appears to have thrived since that race, looks the bet of the day.

MISS ROUMBINI (STAR KINGDOM STAKES)

High class mare who is extremely clean winded and this assignment looks perfect for her. Go close.

HONG KONG (SHA TIN):
GENEVA (HANDICAP)

had little luck last time after an excellent win in similar company. Fitter and will take beating.

LOVERO (HANDICAP)

Never raced in better form than at the present, relishes this trip, makes his own luck and has Purton on board.

World Pool races will be on Australian Cup Day at Flemington and Tancred Stakes Day at Rosehill as well as on March 28 World Pool will operate on the 2026 Dubai World Cup Card.
