The Victoria Racing Club (VRC) will launch a new race day competition this Saturday 3 October on TAB Turnbull Stakes Day, with The Flemington Fortune giving racegoers the chance to win a share of $100,000.
The Flemington Fortune will put racegoers’ tipping prowess to the test, with those on course having the chance to take home the $100,000 prize pool and claim the ultimate bragging rights.
Racegoers attending Flemington need to pick the card by selecting one horse in each of the ten races to go home a winner. Those who correctly pick the winner of ten races will take home $100,000 outright, or if multiple winners will share the prize pool.
If no one successfully tips all ten winners, the earliest racegoer who correctly picks the most winners, will take home $10,000.
VRC Chief Racing Officer Leigh Jordon said Flemington Fortune is another fantastic offering to racegoers on TAB Turnbull Stakes Day.
“Flemington Fortune is a fun initiative which we’re thrilled to offer racegoers on TAB Turnbull Stakes Day,” Mr Jordon said.
“With some of the best horses in the country set to race on the day, this will be a thrilling event for punters and racing fans alike. At least one racegoer will walk away a winner this weekend thanks to the Flemington Fortune.”
Gates will open on TAB Turnbull Stakes Day from 11:00am, with QR codes available to scan across the course including at gate entry points to enter tips from 10:00am.
Flemington Fortune will be available to on-course patrons only, with the competition to close at 12:10pm, 15 minutes prior to Race 1, the winner will be announced following the last race on TAB Turnbull Stakes Day and must be on-course to claim their winnings.
