Race 4. TAB INTER DOMINION TROTTING CHAMPIONSHIP (Heat 5):

TORNADO VALLEY: Australia’s best trotter, unbeaten through the series and has the gate speed and the all-round smarts to tackle any racing situation. Looks the winner again.

MAORI LAW: Massive run first night when 2nd Speeding Spur, horror draw second night held-up and eventually galloped. Forget. He’s very good and from the gate has at least a place chance.

SAVE OUR PENNYS: Continues to draw well, two runs have been outstanding from good gates and after soft runs. Draws perfectly again, solid place claims again.

TOUGH MONARCH: NSW trotter has run two outstanding races this series. Big effort wide last lap and kept coming when 4th on Tuesday night. Gets a good run through here, strong place claims.

RED HOT TOOTH: Former outstanding juvenile trotter starting to find some form again. Eye-catching run Tuesday night when 5th to Tornado Valley. Can run the gate so might provide some fireworks.

Race 5: TAB INTER DOMINION TROTTING CHAMPIONSHIP (Heat 6):

SPEEDING SPUR: NZ’s best trotter in good form. Easy winner from same gate first night and brave when 3rd no cover Tornado Valley Tuesday night. Looks the winner from this gate.

KYVALLEY BLUR: Veteran but still highly competitive this class. Poor first night, needed run, flew home from last to win impressively second night. This best gate, distance suits, can win.

ENROLLED: Held-up first night, forgive, around field breeze when huge 4th Tuesday night. This trip ideal as too is the better gate. Strong place claims in this.

BIG JACK HAMMER: Racing well, 4th Tornado Valley first night along pegs, then big effort 2nd Kyvalley Blur Tuesday night. Horror gate here but racing well enough to be placed anyway.

MONTY PYTHON: Kiwi trotter racing OK, good effort 4th Speeding Spur first night then battled well 6th Kyvalley Blur Tuesday night. Poor gate but distance suits and can be placed.

Race 6: INTER DOMINION PACING CHAMPIONSHIP (Heat 7).

SPANKEM: Kiwi 4YO has been the revelation of the series. Big effort to win first night then from the back of the field smashed the clock Tuesday night when 3rd. Trip ideal, gate OK, should win.

GALACTIC STAR: Under-rated WA pacer, led throughout first night then around field tough trip still very good when 3rd Tuesday night. Poor draw again but in hot form.

WRAPPERS DELIGHT: Ran fifth Spankem first night when good effort then led throughout over short course to win Tuesday night. This totally different scenario, longer trip, poor gate. Place.

MAXIMAN: Veteran in career-best form. Big run when tough 3rd opening night, trailed the speed when close 4th Tuesday night. Capable of working, very tough, can be placed.

JOES STAR OF MIA: Has been in handy form without much luck. Draws ideally here to track the speed. Wasn’t far away behind Im Pats Delight Tuesday night. Place.

Race 7: INTER DOMINION PACERS CHAMPIONSHIP (Heat 8).

TIGER TARA: Sense of timing about his series, flashed home 3rd opening night after being held-up, strong 2nd Wrappers Delight Tuesday night. Now right draw, distance and field and he should win.

CANT REFUSE: Has been a surprise packet this series, both runs very good, fifth Galactic Star opening night then charged home 2nd Im Pats Delight. Great gate and trip perfect. Chance.

SAN CARLO: Very smart, tough effort 2nd first night Galactic Star then not driven with any aggression second night, battled 5th Wrappers Delight. Horror gate, needs to be put right into the race. Place.

AUDI HARE: Raced very well both nights, led on Tuesday night over the short course and brave when 2nd Cruz Bromac. Great gate again to get a soft trip. Can be placed again.

OUR UNCLE SAM: Has been in terrific form just no luck either night. Ran 4th Cruz Bromac first night, 7th Wrappers Delight Tuesday night when wide no cover. Gets cheap trip here, can be placed.

MACH DORO: Also racing well. Sit-sprinter not suited by draw but if gets the right trip can be dangerous late so include him in your first-fours etc.

Race 8: INTER DOMINION PACERS CHAMPIONSHIP (Heat 9).

CRUZ BROMAC: Former Australian now with all-conquering Purdon/Rasmussen barn in NZ, has gone through the series unbeaten, arrogant winner Tuesday night. Looks the leader and the winner.

IM PATS DELIGHT: Exciting Kiwi 4YO, huge first night when eye-catching 2nd Spankem before led throughout Tuesday night in sizzling time. Untapped, could be anything in 12 months. Can win.

MATTGREGOR: Under-rated Qld pacer, OK first night and good effort Tuesday night from wide gate when close 5th Cruz Bromac. Good gate speed, first leader, solid place claims.

IM THE BOSS: Not far away opening night then well-backed when strong 3rd Im Pats Delight when parked throughout. Should get good trip here, has a place chance again.

FRANCO NELSON: Came into series with great expectations, has disappointed. OK first night then just a run again when 5th Im Pats Delight Tuesday night. Place claims best.
