FIRED-UP SAM BURGESS CAN ENSURE RABBITOHS VICTORY
A fired-up Sam Burgess can guarantee a return for those taking the short odds in the NRL second semi-final at ANZ Stadium on Saturday.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs are at around $1.25 while the opposing St George Illawarra Dragons are at $4.
Burgess, one of the toughest players in the game, was apologetic about vital errors made during last week’s one point loss to the Melbourne Storm.
He is determined to make amends against the Dragons and, no doubt, will come through on his promise to team mates.
The first semi-final between Cronulla Sharks and Penrith Panthers at Alliance Stadium on Friday will feature a vintage duel between opposing number sixes.
Although the hard as nails Maloney should have an edge for the Panthers over the brilliant playmaker Matt Moylan in that battle the Sharks should still prove superior.
They have beaten the Panthers in the two premierships games they played this season and are set to complete the hat-trick.
